We also offer several dual credit courses as well as Advanced Placement courses (AP) to better prepare our students. We have very strong Academic programs, as well as other outstanding programs such as Band, FFA, Choir, and Robotics. We are also well known for our Athletic programs. We are the only school in the state with the King Mascot and we are proud to be a King.

About the Superintendent
I first started out as Tim Garland the student several years ago. As a student in this district, I attended Lewis Cass Jr/Sr High School and participated in several sports and graduated in 1987. I had the honor of serving our country in the Army National Guard and regular Army for ten years. I then graduated from Ball State University and Indiana State University obtaining BS., MA, ED. S, and PH. D. degrees. I have also had the opportunity to work at Delphi (Delco) for ten years. I came back into education and taught at Lafayette School Corporation (Tech Ed teacher), Logansport Schools (Tech Ed teacher), North Miami Middle/High School (Asst. Principal and Principal), and Tri-Central Community Schools as the Superintendent.
I have enjoyed returning back home to my alma mater and Home of the Kings. With a military background and background in the manufacturing industry, I feel that I am well rounded and ready to meet the expectations and needs of our community. I share the same desire with the Board of Trustees, and the entire community; to see the district thrive and succeed in the ever-changing educational field. It’s a great time to be a Cass King!
